SUMMER ORCHESTRA CAMP 2027

June Sessions: June 7-11 at UNLV and June 14-18 at YAO

The 2026 Summer Orchestra Camp for string players will take place for two weeks in June. The first June session runs from June 7-11 at UNLV Beam Music Center with daily classes from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The second June session will run June 14-18 at YAO, 3661 S. Maryland Parkway in Maryland Square, next to the Adelson Clinic, with daily classes from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Open to all string players ages 7-18, students will participate in daily orchestra rehearsals led by select YAO faculty, collaborate with professional musicians and mentors, engage in masterclasses, and attend seminars on audition preparation and practice techniques. Students may register for one or both sessions.

Student level requirements: YAO recommends that students have at least 1-2 years of playing experience to participate in the camp. Please contact YAO for more information: yaorchestra@gmail.com

Tuition:$250/week or $425/2-weeks

Financial Aid/Scholarships: Available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Tuition fees are non-refundable

Tuition fees are non-refundable. Any refund requests must be received within 7 business days. Unused tuition-fees can be claimed as credits towards other programs, tickets, and/or merchandise.

We recommend you upload a 1-3 minute excerpt of your playing to YouTube and send us the link. You may also email in a video to YAOrchestra@gmail.com. The video will help us in placements within the orchestra and/or chamber groups.

Tuition Information

If you are requesting financial assistance, then please choose "Financial Aid Requested" under Tuition Payment. Otherwise, choose your appropriate tuition and include credit card and billing information as requested below.

Tuition Payment
Tuition fees are non-refundable. Any request for a refund must be submitted in writing within three (3) calendar days of payment. Approved refunds will be issued minus applicable credit card processing fees and non-refundable application fees. Unused tuition may be credited toward a future summer camp session, provided such credit is used within one (1) calendar year from the original camp date(s).
