Violist Omar Shelly studied at San Francisco Conservatory of Music and The Orchestra Now at Bard College. He picked up the viola at age 11 because his grandma played the viola when she was in high school. He likes to travel and his favorite piece to play is Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 1. Omar is a member of the Las Vegas Philharmonic.
