Jimmy Cisneros was born and raised in California, and moved to Las Vegas in 2005. In 2006, Jimmy began to play the double bass and quickly progressed. In 2009 he entered the Las Vegas Academy for High School during which time he was exposed to great teachers such as Brian Downy, Logan Biles, Patrick Bowen, and Marshal Townsend. During his time with the Las Vegas Academy Philharmonic, Jimmy was a part of performing and competing at many festivals. Moreover, he was part of the Las Vegas Youth Orchestras and led the bass section during their China tour. During that same tour, Jimmy had the opportunity to perform with the Qinhuangdao Symphony Orchestra. Currently, Jimmy is a student at UNLV and performs with the UNLV Symphony and Chamber Orchestra, in addition to being one of the five bass players in the Young Artists Orchestra of Las Vegas.
