Alyssa D’Anduono currently attends Las Vegas Academy as an Orchestra major. Along with playing principal bass for LVA symphony orchestra, she is also a member of the Las Vegas Academy Chamber Orchestra. She will be a sophomore in the fall and has been playing bass for 4 years. Starting at the age of five, Alyssa began by playing the violin until she found her passion with the double bass. She has performed in a variety of venues from Las Vegas’ First Friday, UNLV Artemus Ham Hall and the Smith Center. Alyssa has participated in All-State and Honor Orchestra. She has also played in Solo and Ensemble receiving superior scores. She is a member of the Las Vegas Youth Orchestra. Alyssa studies under renowned bassist, Brycen Ingersoll. In her free time she enjoys playing other instruments (such as guitar, piano, and more) and spending time with friends.
