This event features music from popular games like Halo, World of Warcraft, Undertale, Journey, Tetris, and more!

Las Vegas composer, dj, and percussionist, Aaron Ramsey, returns for his second collaboration with the YAO featuring themes from classic video games music. Aaron’s passion for writing and arranging video game music was sparked from a young age, first being inspired by the original soundtracks from various Nintendo series. A percussion performance artist as well as a composer, Aaron plays a fascinating percussion configuration that he designed. The many shapes, colors and sounds complement and enhance the music. It’s as fun to listen to as it is to watch!

While pursuing his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Scoring for Film, TV and Video Games from Berklee College of Music, he recorded his film music with several high-level orchestras including the Budapest Art Orchestra and the London Session Orchestra at the world Famous Air Lyndhurst Studios. His music has also been featured in the Palm Springs Short Film Festival with the short film Copetín. More recently, he has written two full albums of meditation music in collaboration with violinist Rebecca Sabine (Sea of Light and Under A New Sun) as well as the Spiraal project, an album of original electronic music inspired by video game soundtracks.
